I wish I knew who the new owner is I would ask for permission just to pass though. I talked to a fellow with the mnr this morning and he said that Golding is crown land and most of the surrounding bush is also crown land so he said its just a matter of making a new trail in on crown land. He also stated they will continue to stock it.

The better launch is actually about 400 yards past the first one. Look for a widening of the road. I used to launch at the first launch but found that the water was way too shallow. This launch is much better.. Cheers Joks

Hey Buckshot98, I was one of the guys fishing beside you Saturday and the lone guy out there Sunday until the two old timers showed up. Should have come over and we could have shared some info. Regarding the other lakes you mentioned I have done some research on them as I was interested in trying them also. Church lake is a hike into only and full of lake trout but very small 10-12" no big fish here. Grouse and Watershed can be accessed via a logging prior to Squeers. I never went but had a friend who use to go there. There is no boat launch but you can drag a boat down a hill by quad or hand. He claims the fishing is good in June. Fish are the same size as Squeers 1.5-2.5 pounds on average. Glenn

hI jOKS I've never fished Lismore, but I'm going out on Tuesday with a couple of buddies who have fished it before. The say you can sled in from the road for a couple of miles then have to walk up the mountian. Is there another way in? Thanks Bob
