This year I was lucky enough to be drawn for a bows-only cow moose tag. I've never hunted a cow before with a bow and I'm pretty unsure of how I'm going to go about finding and getting within range of a cow. Has anyone else been successful in getting a cow with a bow, and care to explain a little bit of how they did it? Any pointers or advice would be much appreciated! Andrew

Greetings everyone. My my wife and I are new to Thunder Bay as I just got transferred here for work from southern Ontario. We are both very much into fishing and hunting and anything outdoors. We are excited to try our hand at the smelt run this year as it’s something we’ve never done before. Any pointers are greatly appreciated, not only on the smelt run but any general fishing or hunting pointers are greatly appreciated. Hope to see you out there! Jim.

Hi everyone, I am 3rd year LU student hoping to possibly get out hunting and appreciate everything Thunder Bay has to offer. I'm open to any zone as I have yet to pick up a buck tag and have a calf seal. Unfortunately with storage issues I haven't been able to transport or store any rifles or shotguns up here. If anyone is looking for someone to get out hunting with and has a spare gun kicking around I'd be more than willing to meet them and tag along in a hunt. Thanks, James
