Lyle Reiner 174 Report post Posted August 10, 2012 I agree. Thatd be pretty dick if they nailed him for that!I dunno, the general consensus is he was drunk, but he's getting away with that, environmental damage was most certainly done, he's getting away with that, and now he's getting away with letting fish spoil... Seems like his stupidity should get nailed for something...no? Quote Prostaff For Lowrance Canada

Some Old Guy 968 Report post Posted August 10, 2012 He did get nailed. Ruined boat. Maybe the cost of getting it out of there and had to spend an uncomfortable night in the bush.I think there's enough on the plate there for awhile.I also agree PROV. Let 'er rest!Roger Quote R.T.R. WalleyeWayne 137 Report post Posted August 11, 2012 Agreed! Damage costs, loss of use, embarrassment, etc,, is enough grief for any individual that has made a mistake. We all make 'em! Gotta be a reminder that sh*t can happen fast when fishing upstream of rapids!
Guest JGC Report post Posted August 14, 2012 So I was told by a friend that works at Norms that the story they are telling is they got off th boat on shore and didn't it off properly and it drifted down the rapids. Not sure how plausible this is as I'm not familiar with the lake but that's th story I heard.
