Setting up a tree stand on crown land during the hunting season and depositing either biodegradable bait (apples, grain, salt licks) or sowing the seed of non invasive plant species attractive to deer is permitted. Structures must be removed after the hunting season or a person could be charged and have to pay for costs associated with removing the structure.

No one can use or possess, for the purpose of hunting, in an area usually inhabited by wildlife, a product that contains or purports to contain the faeces, urine, blood, gland oil, saliva or other bodily fluids of a cervid (moose, deer, elk, caribou).
