Guest Dee Report post Posted October 6, 2012 I was fishing on the weekend up Black Sturgeon Rd at one of the lakes this past weekend and some of our pickerel and bass had eggs in them. I have asked around to some avid fishermen and some have come across this and others have not. Can you tell me why the fish have eggs in them this time of year??? Is there such a thing as a fall spawn or false spawn for these two kinds of fish??
TroutHunter 39 Report post Posted October 8, 2012 Same thing happened to me last winter... Caught a few specks through the ice in February and they were full of eggs...
