Guest MNR Report post Posted April 11, 2013 Brook Trout season in fisheries management zone 6 is from the 4th saturday in april until Labour Day. If we had a year where there was still ice on the lake on the 4th Saturday in April, the season would still open. If there was still ice (hypothetically this could happen) you could fish with 2 lines through the ice.Seasons and limits are set in regulation and need minister approval for change. Late ice out is not a reason to make a change.
