arvey 154 Report post Posted April 19, 2013 in about 1999 I brought a 30/30 to a gun repair shop . it's an old one and I wanted it brought back to life since it was a gift from a family member. I had dealt with this business before and I know they're slow ( not the shop by the grocery store) , I thought it would take awhile but they do good work. I had been checking in regularly to see how things were going. the last few years it was getting frustrating being told it's in parts it'll look great when it's done and pretty much a refusal to return it. yesterday I went to the police station and informed them what was going on. the officer behind the desk informed me this was a civil matter and all she could do was phone and ask if he still had it. after the phone call I was told to go get my gun so I did , it was returned to me and low and behold it was in the same condition as when I took it to him untouched. yes I have to take some of the blame for allowing this to go on for so long. maybe others have had no problems with this place but I did and to me it's another example of customer service in tbay. arvey
