and as a hunter myself I have a 2 questions,

Who attempted to shoot it in a provincial park, allowing it to survive requiring it to be trapped the next day? was it shot with a sidearm just to scare it off?

how were/are the MTO certain that bear shot/shot at and later trapped was in fact same bear that attacked the person in Sandbar Provincial Park?

just curious how you ascertain its the same animal. as i have seen several bear in small areas
