Laser Bore Sighter

Just put a scope on my rifle, tried sighting it, but its way out to lunch. Does anyone have a laser bore sighter they could lend me?

just pull the bolt and put gun on a rest, you can do it in the kitchen, if you dont have a rest just strap it or bungee it down to a carboard box with notches cut for stock and barrell.

look through barrel .line barrel up on an object in back yard so it is centered in barrel, and get scope to do same, ideally at 25 yds 75ft. i do this every time an im on paper at 100.

then you can sight in with 2 shots but you need a solid rest and 2 guys.

shoot target at 100yds dead centre.

strap gun down and put crosshairs on hole in paper,

hold it steady, do not move rifle.

have friend adjust scope so crosshairs move from hole in paper to centre of bull.

fire 2nd shot it should be bang on minus human error.

this should save you some lead

Or if you don't have a bolt action just keep going closer to the target until you hit the paper.
