gsambray 172 Report post Posted January 8, 2014 Its time to turn my boat (mr. fugly) a little more attractive. She needs a new floor and some fiberglasd and a paint job. It doesnt leak but when in rough water you can feel the bottom flexing with each wave. I figured a new layer of fiberglass inside would help. Plus the old floor is just a piece of plywood. I am planning on putting in some cross supports down and also glassing them in. New foam as it doesnt have any and was thinking either turning it into an open bow or reinforcing it to something i can stand on for casting. Any suggestions? brookiebuster 117 Report post Posted January 9, 2014 Here's a video from Ontario Out Of Doors about renovating old boats. Article is in the jan/feb 2012 issue. The article is a lot more informative than the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ND2nnc9eI3A#t=165 Quote "Whack em' and stack em',kill em' and grill em'" Ted Nugent
