Fly Rattles

Has anyone ever tried tying these fly rattles to the hook shank of clousers or buggers?? I'm thinking of experimenting with some to add some extra clack to my flies.

I have them and use them! I dig em, usually tie a few to my large streamer hooks. Clousers would be great, the jigging motion would make those things sing!

They'll have to be on the bottom of the shank to keep the hook point up, and will change the way you tie , for sure.

In my big streamers they are hidden and the hooks and fly are big enough that they're not affected.

Good luck, enjoy!

I use them for a lot of things including putting them on jigs for bass.
