Quad repairs

RH.

Got the call today that my quad will cost 1000 for all of the repairs. Worst phone call ever, was expecting about 400 but instead i found out one simple mistake made by me and other people working on my quad last year made a 700$ dent in my bank. anyone else have any stories on theyre quad costing way more then expected?

When changing the bearings we put bearing grease instead of this special magnetic oil stuff that controls the 4x4 on my quad which messed up both of my front struts and everything on the inside of them.

Magnetic oil? In your wheel hubs that destroyed your struts? As in your suspension struts? Uhm something sounds fishy

Lyle. they have electric locking hubs. And they are magnetic . So fluid can't be conductive. If it is plates magnetize over time and need to be replaced.

Or something like that. A scrambler I fixed had same issue

Ryan is correct. The bearings were put in very wrong so my struts were basically destroyed. Thankfully they had used parts as it would have costed me more then double to repair it.
