Powerdrive Pedal

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know where to find an inexpensive (new or used) replacement pedal for a minn kota powerdrive?

Mine has "disappeared" and I really hate paying for things twice.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try S&R Electronics on Frederica. He may have something there.

Buy new or you'll just buy a bunch of used ones. Bought from s&r before. These pedals don't like sand!!! Take apart twice a year and clean.

Terrova have had no issue in 2 years with pedal. I still clean it twice a year tho. Easy to do.

Power drive pedals not sealed as good an sand enters from top and sides easy.

Lots of used ones eBay Miller if u wanna go used route

I ended up buying a new pedal, and I will make sure to clean it out with the air compressor. Now I just have to replace my broken Humminbird mount.

thanx for the advice

After you clean them give them a squirt of silicone spray. Spray all the white components underneath and under the pedal portion on the bottom, top and side. Dont over spray but a little keeps them performing well. After each day of fishing, give them a vigouris shake, you will be surprized how much sand and debris comes out of them.

I pulled mine apart and coated in dielectric grease. Will allow for electricity to pass through, and keeps sand out

Grease and sand love to be married but are pretty bad together!

Stay with the silicone spray. You can get the sand out if you get any in there.
