gsambray 172 Report post Posted August 16, 2014 We'll I'm finally gonna go fishing with a fly rod tonight. Heading to current river to give it a shot. The main reason is I picked up a rod and reel at a yard sale for what I hope was a good deal. It's an oldy but in nice shape 8.9 footer 8wt st. Croix and a Fenwick reel already spoiled up and ready to cast. I will post my results when I get back. gsambray 172 Report post Posted August 17, 2014 Well after catching half dozen trees, a fence and my own ear i started to get the hang of things.
