You know the Pike are going to just shred em up, my little trout will barely ruffle the fur. Many trout per fly means we'll have a good sample size to get a feel for reel trout catchyness. hookset 18 Report post Posted April 9, 2015 The green bead head is to mimic a weeble. The few trout I took for eating were filled with the little green bugs. I also tied the black bead head in the same size(#14). Bookies always have a few of the little black beetles in their bellies. And a variety of minkies style streamer. I used rabbit zonkers.
