Tying season 3

#22 should be a challenge. What would that be, three spins down and your at the end of the shank. lol. Nice work like always flybum. The more I look at your flies, the more I want to tie them. Next months order will be geared to those big guys. I need a pair of those fugly packers and better uv glue.

Those look way too nice to throw at Pike...lol

Tie a few up in trout size, 8 or so, send em my way and I'll let you know if the things are any good. You know the Pike are going to just shred em up, my little trout will barely ruffle the fur. Many trout per fly means we'll have a good sample size to get a feel for reel trout catchyness.

Really though, looks incredible, a muddler head makes many streamers that much better.

Smallest in a "streamer" hook is a 6 I think... I'll see what I can do. And maybe I'll send a few your way. ;-)

Nice but....

Where's the muddler head lol

I've wondered about those salt water patterns, any guess as to why they don't just use streamer hooks?

These are for GTs(giant trevally) 30-100lbs... Standard streamer hooks would not hold.

Nice flys. I bet they would work here as well for trout.

That little olive one i saw today ( in the picture as well) looks like the size i use a lot. Most of mine are tied on size 8, today i tied a minkie up on a size 12 complete with muddler sans collar.

A couple recent ties. Smaller nymphs, size 12 down to 16, even tried some 22s.

Very nice ties. I especially like the purple nymph. I can see that one being successful on one of my favorite rivers.

Very ice nymphs there FF! Let us know how that bead body jobby works. i tied one similar years ago but have never had the nerve to try it.

I like the grey on that streamer Flybum. Very nice tie!

#16 bead head bugs. I was inspired by FF to tie a purple bug.

The green bead head is to mimic a weeble. The few trout I took for eating were filled with the little green bugs. I also tied the black bead head in the same size(#14). Bookies always have a few of the little black beetles in their bellies. And a variety of minkies style streamer. I used rabbit zonkers.
