I don't have confirmation of this, but last I heard people were walking on sawmill... With this weather coming up, could it be that shacks will be out before Dec??? mikejson 35 Report post Posted November 15, 2014 I was out there a month or so ago, and lots of shacks weren't up high enough... good idea to get out there early before snowfalls and then more ice forms around the shacks. Bad choice last nites wind caused a bunch of cracks all the way to sand point. I was driving along till i hit a crack a looked back and watched my sauna sink 5 inches. Barely got out. WalleyeWayne 137 Report post Posted December 1, 2014 I talked to Gary last Thursday and at that time there was 8" of ice, but he wasn't letting trucks or huts on until there was 12". He did say he would allow sleds or bikes on from his launch. There was fresh snow on the ground and no evidence of anyone pulling a shack out from Gary's that I could see.
