johnr 47 Report post Posted December 8, 2014 So....had my wife and daughter out for their first ice fishing trip. I told them that I would bring the tent, heater and lawn chairs so they could play cards and be comfortable. Explained that the gatekeeper [Gary] patrols the area and sets up only when safe. Set up the tent just off the ice ridge, Gary drove up and said hello, beautiful day, they caught a few perch, had a little lunch and I was pretty confident that I had new fishing buddies for the winter. That two second "earthquake" changed everything......Anyone want to go fishing with me this winter?
