McGinnis_Fishing 49 Report post Posted December 3, 2014 I agree, you can go out and hit a good day and get some nice fish, the next day in the same spot you wont get a bite. All though it was been slow i have yet to leave without fish.
Guest FreshwaterFisherman Report post Posted December 3, 2014 I went out 2 years ago early season and got 18 walleye, 2 perch and a fat pike. Was almost nonstop between 3 of us getting around 50 fish. My second best day is 10 perch 4 walleye and 3 pike, 3rd best day was 3 walleye, 2 perch. Not often you have an amazing day. Spring and fall are better for me. I still head out there a couple times an ice season just because it's close and easy. Not gonna lie. It's a boring lake to fish. fisherdude 69 Report post Posted December 3, 2014 I can't say that iv had a lot of good days on the ice there, but I haven't moved around a lot when I've bin there. Iv got a 4.5 lb bass through the ice though so that was fun. Iv almost always left around dark though and from everything I've bin told, that's when you should be going. I know a lot of people that do amazing after dark though. Keep that in mind.

Guest ontarioblair Report post Posted December 3, 2014 I heard 15 inches from a friend who Just put a Shack out. But at the bait shop this afternoon I heard only 12. I'm going tonight to try again.I will keep you guys posted. I went last week. Had 3 bites but landed zero. Lost a complete jig head stinger hook set up to something big. Snapped the line before I could get to it. Hopefully have better luck tonight. Cheers
