To buff or not to buff?

Recommended Posts

flybum

I've spoke to a few people over the years who think buffs(face mask) are stupid and serve no purpose. Myself on the other hand will wear one in the heat of the summer(it's a black one too!) and I find it keeps me substantially cooler. If by chance it ever gets too hot out there, you can always soak it and put it back on. WHere does everyone stand in regards to buffs?

Here is a picture of my new buff! The fish don't stand a chance this season!

I plan to fish in the buff this season. There's lots of benefits.

Where would you buy a buff? If not too expensive I might try one on hot sunny days instead of lathering up with sun screen all the time.

Any camping/outdoor type store usually carries them. Fresh Air, Atmosphere, Cabelas etc.

Never hold your farts in.

They travel up your spine into your brain, and that is where crappy ideas come from.

there is the Buff brand and a few others. they aren't overly expensive, i believe i paid 13$/each for both of mine. bugslinger is also a company who markets them. Hoorag as well. all depends on what you're looking for!

I paid 30 bucks for two including shipping to my door from Sault St Marie. Soo North fly shop. I got a steelhead one and a Dorado one.

I lost part of my cheek to skin cancer, and I was the guy who always used sunscreen.

Now it's always buff and long sleeves, and a sun hat
