Spectre 21 Report post Posted October 7, 2015 Hey, just wondering if someone can confirm a rule I read (wikipedia) about magazine capacity? With a semi auto centre fire rifle you can only have 5 rounds in the gun, however with a bolt action say .303 British its ok to have 10 shots if that is what the magazine allows? I heard that it may have changed recently to not allow the 10 shot clips in anything, after reading the article I'm starting to think they were talking out their rear end . Thanks

luckmedic 3 Report post Posted October 7, 2015 5-round magazines in semi-auto centre fire, not limited in rimfire and other action types. That's my interpretation last time I checked as well. That being said, I can't see myself needing more than my 5-round clip while big game hunting... especially if you have a back-up 3 or 5 round clip in your pocket. Spectre 21 Report post Posted October 7, 2015 Ok thanks. It's not a matter of needing more than 5, my wife's .303 British has a 9 shot clip that came with it. No point in getting a new one especially if she won't be out much
