tracker 61 Report post Posted October 15, 2015 Check this out tonight. It may help some of the hunters to understand what is actually happening with the moose decline. It is happening all over North America, not just Thunder Bay. http://www.cbc.ca/natureofthings/episodes//moose-a-year-in-the-life-of-a-twig-eater http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/moose-documentary-1.3268868 Quote Tracker Team NOSA Homepage Born to Fish, Forced to Work <')(((((>{
Dirttracker18 26 Report post Posted October 16, 2015 It was a good show and the stat of bears taking out 50% of the calves (am I remembering this correctly?) should be alarm bells to the MNR to re-instate the spring bear hunt. Manage the predators, both bear and wolf, of which outdoorsman have been saying for years their numbers are climbing fast. We are seeing wolves in areas we never saw them before. This was the first year that I have seen wolves in my property or any evidence of them anywhere. Neighbours in the area saying the same thing.
