Anyone want to help me out? I'm looking for advice ,help, hints on shed hunting with my kids , and pooch . When to start , where to look , general helpful hints. Thanks in advance for any info , cheers all

When I do it, I do it in spring when there is little snow on the ground in the bush. You can spot them easily with the tines sticking up out of the snow as all the leaf litter and branches are still covered.

I have a series of pictures on my trail cam, still set up, of a nice pointer.  One picture in full rack, 3 minutes later missing one side.  I went out and cannot find the shed :( 

How far could it possibly be in 3 minutes?

 

Wish I could give you some advice but obviously I'm that good at it.
