Looking for sources of meat for the dogs!

I recently started making food for my two large dogs. I have been trying to source meat from various places to try to save money. I have heard from people that the MNR gives away meat they confiscate. Does anyone know if this is true or who I could contact to find out?

 

This would be a great source as I'm not too worried about feeding freezer burnt meat to my dogs. Also if anyone out there has some old meat they want to get rid of. I would be happy to come get it! It can be years old as long as it was fit for humans when it was frozen. Better to give it to my boys than to have it go to waste!!
