Interesting video... Never thought they harmed fish that much

** People often ask me why I like hunting and fishing so much... I tell them that those are the only places where my mind doesn't think.... You should really try it sometime! **

I do use a tailing glove for Steelhead, and for Chinooks and Cohos river fishing, but not for any other fish. I've never used one for brook trout, and did not know that Atlantic's would suffer. I have caught 2 Atlantic's  in my lifetime though, both on Superior from a boat, using a net to land them, that's it. I don't always use them for Steelhead, depends on the size of the fish and the river situation I am battling them in. Chinooks and Cohos, they are generally for table fare so I am keeping them anyways. Don't keep many and rarely hook them deep in the mouth, so the ones I release I do not touch if possible and use a pair of long nosed surgical pliers that have a locking capability to get a good hold of the hook to retrieve it from the fishes mouth while still in the water.
