oyo 126 Report post Posted September 18, 2016 Hello, i recently purchased a small 1.75 HP game fisher. Went to use her, got it started and ripping along for a bit, then the motor just dies, and makes a little whoopee cushion noise, soft clown horn noise. Got her started a few more times but it would die off quick and make the same kind of sounds. Tried playing around with choke, power level, toggles and switches. Motor has built in gas tank and is air cooled. Any ideas on the sound what I should take a look at? cheers
eyelander 163 Report post Posted September 19, 2016 Is this happening at full throttle and not low speed? If so it is probably the carb and carb jets. Mix some Seafoam in the gas(read the bottle for the right amount)and run a full tank through the engine while adjusting the throttle up and down. http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/seafoam-motor-treatment-0387800p.html#srp Quote Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance
