Porkchop21 34 Report post Posted February 7, 2017 Hey everyone So my friends 11 year old daughter needs to do some fundraising in order to go on a trip next year to Ecuador with girl guides. I am trying to help her out with ideas for fundraising geared towards fisherman and hunters. Looking for things that she could make and sell that would hopefully make her some money. I thought maybe making jigs/spinners and selling them? If anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated!
Bobber Down 921 Report post Posted February 7, 2017 Its a nice idea to make jigs n spinners etc etc but all the components cost $$ and then she has to sell them to someone. She needs to raise money not spend money. How about this. Have her go to all the neighbours on her street and let them know that she is with the Girl Guides (have her uniform on) and she is fundraising so she can go on the trip. She would like donations for a "yard sale" that will happen this summer. Have the neighbours drop off heavier items at her house. Yard sales can generate hundreds of dollars. She can make up little flyers for the neighbours to read when she asks them. If she starts collecting items now from friends, family and neighbours she will raise $$$.
