Even though I didn't know him when ever our paths crossed he was always willing to chat especially if it was about fishing. My condolences to the family.

I don't think I'm going to get tapped for Sandro's eulogy, but I will tell you this about the man.

In all the years I had known him, he asked extremely little from me, yet he gave me so much.  At one point I told him I was looking for tournament sponsorship, and he said, "no Pancho, I'll take care of you."

All he ever wanted from me is to spend a little time with me.  Be it in a boat every so often, or a quick lunch, or some time in his rec-room with the always-in-stock beer shoved my way.

Always smiling and laughing and a good bit of mutual teasing as friends do.  He was always welcoming and happy to see me no matter where he was or what he was doing.  And that's the biggest thing.

I'll miss him greatly.

I didn't know him very well at all. My boss, however, was one of his best friends. I spoke to him a couple times about fishing when he would come into my work. Great man, always happy and joyful. Condolences to his family and friends.

I first met Sandro 0ver 40 years ago while growing up at bay and banning. He was a fixture of the italian angling community along with Julio C and others.

His warm and positive spirit touched all that had the pleasure of meeting him.

Condolences to his family and closest friends who will miss the very most.
