therealfndeal 61 Report post Posted May 30, 2017 I usually stay with a medium Colorado blade for inland lakes and on superior I go with the bigger size and some times run double blade rigs on superior as well

Bobber Down 921 Report post Posted May 31, 2017 Most of my trolling on inland lakes at this time of year has always been with #3 Colorado blades. That's where I start size wise. Let the fish dictate size and colour although I do like to force feed them orange. Bottom Bouncer 22 Report post Posted May 31, 2017 #5 Indiana , hammered silver with solid chartreuse beads and a silver one in the middle , hammered gold with Salmon coloured beads and a silver one in the centre. Seems to work for most applications although the last batch I made were Colorado blades from Northland Tackle. Same colours. Colorado has a little more lift at slower speeds but if I'm going that slow to make a difference then I would change my whole presentation. I just happened to like the quality and Finnish on the Northland blades. Super shiny/reflective. 1 Quote REELBAIT
arvey 154 Report post Posted May 31, 2017 When things get tough my go to spinner is a hammered silver Colorado with baby blue and silver beads . The one I use the most with a Lindy style slip sicker rig is those little props with either a single clear green or red bead set at about a foot back from the hook , I've had good success with this and I use it with dew worms .
