allymeagan 16 Report post Posted June 6, 2017 I'm planning a trip off Boreal Rd and then to Shebandawon back to back. If I take Boreal Rd to E. Nelson Lake Rd, will that go through to hwy 802? It looks like it on the map, but I wanted to make sure it was passable all the way through. It's okay if it's rough, it would save a lot of travel time even if we went slow! Thanks. back country explorer 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2017 sure does take the nelson rd approx 15-20 km until you reach a large t in the road and go right then its about 30km out to the squeezers at kashabowie. Depending on where your coming from in boreal you could also take hoof lake road until it ends and hang a right is quite a bit shorter. gold creek rd also goes accross and comes out on the shebandowan mine rd. speckmaster 114 Report post Posted June 7, 2017 We were there at the end of April and the road was washed out in between the Hoof lake rd and Burchill lake intersection

speckmaster 114 Report post Posted June 7, 2017 I don't know that road very well but it wasn't too far past the hoof lake turnoff

allymeagan 16 Report post Posted June 8, 2017 Turns out our trip is swapped so I'll be going from 802 to Boreal. I'll check out hoof lake road first, and if that's not passable, I'll go on to nelson lake road. Thanks again guys!
