Nnev 70 Report post Posted August 28, 2017 My grandfather owned the Chalet Lodge just across the Nipigon bridge for a number of years. He showed up one day to look around. Apparently he spent a lot of time there as a kid. He took the time to walk around with my grandfather who had a ton of questions about some weird artifacts around the camp. The highlight for me was a small box packed with straw which contained a jar with clear liquid. He told my grandpa that the cops used to stay at the camp and canoe around looking for moonshiners and this was a sample they would usually have sent back to Ottawa for testing.
