Saw the helicopter land at Shacks Landing on Saturday.  Does anyone know what happened.

A local angler named Larry Dogget was pulling his shack out for the season.

Apparently he was with a few of his ice fishing buddies setting up and he was not feeling well. His friends called the air ambulance.

I heard he had a heart attack and passed away in the chopper on the wy to TBRH.

He was a super guy, and fishing fanatic and a long time member of the North Shore Steelhead Association.

He was a fixture on the Lac in the winter and loved to fish and camp on the Cypress in the spring with friends and family.

RIP Larry Dogget. Great guy left us all too soon.

Condolences to his family.

Larry was a great person. His volunteer work will be greatly missed. Going to miss seeing him in Sioux lookout, steelhead dinner and especially on lac.
