Wondering if anyone on site has ever went out there and fished. I know a bunch of boats years ago went and did it and said the fishing was awesome. It's a 55 mile run from here in marathon and about same state side. My buddy was dating a girl in Houghton Michigan and said locals there do it. Off course this is weather pending but  a few of us here it is on our bucket list. There 3 of us each with a boat. Be neat to hear if anyone's done it.

I've never heard of anyone fishing it but looks like it would be an awesome adventure.

Hey Terry—I know 2 guys from Michigan that have fished it on charter boats that run out of Houghton. Expensive proposition. Both guys went 2 times cause they wanted a laker over 20lbs. Didn’t happen.

You know where they ended up.

It's not a wake up and go. Lots factors involved in. Weather day and night before and that day. It can be done but have to watch the variables and be prepared for unexpected. Stars have to line up so to speak. Prob why not done very much. I think it's be cool.
