mfourni6 0 Report post Posted January 15, 2019 Does anyone have any information on the ice conditions for Jessie Lake and Lofquist Lake. As of Jan 15, 2019. Any recommendations on icefishing spots.
scandiman 114 Report post Posted January 15, 2019 I haven't been to Jessie yet this season but I would strongly recommend not stepping foot on that ice until Lakers open in mid February. The ice making season thus far has been less than stellar and there is plenty of current in that area. Err on the side of caution. As for lofquist, there is definitely enough ice there from what I've heard.

CMB 2 Report post Posted January 16, 2019 Was at Lofquist about 10 days ago, averaged about 12" of ice and 4" slush. Walked onto southern end of lake near landing/beach and had some fun with brookies in 3-8' of water. Other people shot straight across the lake from landing and seemed to be catching a few as well.
