scandiman 114 Report post Posted March 13, 2018 So where will the fishing area be??
scandiman 114 Report post Posted March 13, 2018 and does the perch need to be kept? Cause if I catch a 14-15 inch perch, I like to release those big females.
Some Old Guy 968 Report post Posted March 13, 2018 No you don't have to be a member. This is all about having a good time and meeting new people. The area will be near the area that Gary has his huts. And I think I will leave it up to the individual angler if the want to release the fish or keep it. But I'm with you Scandiman, I'll release mine.........that's if I get a big enough one to measure! haha Roger 1 Quote R.T.R. Respect the resource!

I'm going to depend on my luck. Just bringing oil, Cajun style shore lunch, a frying pan, water, lemonade and a 12 pack of hot dog buns. I hope I catch a perch or two!!!!! Roger Quote R.T.R. scandiman 114 Report post Posted March 16, 2018 I was using auger without extension with no issues as of a few days ago. You need to shovel down to the ice level and clear the ice chip away as you drill hole but no issue getting through. Couple inches to spare.
Some Old Guy 968 Report post Posted March 17, 2018 Yeah I was the same on one hole. Then 20 feet away I couldn't make it through! Roger Quote R.T.R. Respect the resource!
