IGNACE - The public are being asked to help find the person who killed and abandoned a cow moose east of Ignace.

On October 21, 2006, a cow moose was found abandoned and left to waste in a cutover area near kilometer 15 on the Grit Road in Wildlife Management Unit 12A.

The Ministry of Natural Resources Dryden District asks anyone who can help with the investigation to call 1-877-TIPS-MNR (847-7667) toll-free any time, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
