If its short and quiet but her ears are up and she`s suddenly active or alert then she hears something like the wind or something outside going by but shes not sure.If she does it a few times but not very loud theres nothing you can do.She`s in protective mode and thats the dogs instinct. If the bark is loud and she just keeps barking check out which direction she is barking and check out whats making her bark. There`s always a reason.Older dogs bark at its seems nothing because they`re loosing they`re hearing and the older they get the more it happens .
