Monks 164 Report post Posted May 14, 2009 Hey Used this last year on my previous boat and it helped out a lot in narrowing down pitch selection. Just did it again for my new boat after trying a few props and it came out bang on. Was told by some mechanics I'd have to run a 21 or 19 pitch. The program told me to run and 17 and I would hit about 38 mph. Just ran a 17 stainless and hit 40 mph vs 33 mph with a 19 pitch. Thought some of you could use it. Just download the program and enter your info and then click on the view calculation tab. Use it as a guide and it will help you narrow the selection on your next prop. http://www.castlemarine.co.uk/pitch.htm
