That kind of reminds me of a few years ago, when I lived up in Wisconsin. There were two friends out deer hunting and one of them shot his buddy by accident. He rushed to the hospital where the doctors worked on him for 12 hours but couldn't save him. The doctor told the guy who did the shooting that they might have been able to save his friend if he hadn't field dressed him before he brought him to the hospital!
