gsambray 172 Report post Posted January 24, 2011 I have heard multiple answers on taking an albino animal. the only reason is this past fall I stumbled upon a cow and a calf while hunting in wmu 13 and the calf was white. it would have been the perfect shot to take with a nice clean kill but i passed it up not sure of what was right and what was wrong. the hunting regulations mentions it but doesnt really give a for sure answer. yes or know. maybe i just didnt read it right because the chance os seeing it is slim to none. Guest MNR Report post Posted January 28, 2011 In WMUs 30 and 31 (Timmins-Chapleau area) it is unlawful to hunt moose that are predominantly white in colour (more than 50% white) (O/R 665/98 Sec. 51(2). There are no other hunting restrictions regarding colour of game in Ontario.
