Report reply theo.milo 0 Posted November 18, 2019 Hey Foozer, nice fish! I just moved here from southern Ontario and was wondering of any lakes to stay away from that generally get bad ice and any not so secret places I can get out to before superiors bays freeze up? I don’t have snowmobile or quad but I don’t mind a walk through the bush. Any info would be much appreciated! Quote Share this comment Link to comment
Report reply Jayfishin 63 Posted November 21, 2019 Most of the back country speck lakes get slushy with soft pockets when spring fed and as the snow builds up. Probably easier access on foot at first ice but with these warmer temps as late I'd be careful as yet. Adrian Lake is an easy walk. Pass lake another option. Check out Fish Online provided by the MNR for a lot of good info, otherwise the book "Stocked Lakes..." put out a few years ago has a lot of good info with access details, just not sure where to purchase any more. 1 Quote Share this comment Link to comment
