I'm not sure of all the details surrounding the crown land other than what is accessible via the road. The section I believe you are talking about is the only area that has road access. The land beside it is owned by a family who has another property on the lake. As I said, I just stumbled upon this while looking for something else and thought I would try to give some insight. I don't have all the answers myself. I Just wanted people to know that it wasn't a decision made by all the campers. It is a beautiful lake and i hope others can enjoy it again one day

I've never been to Lenore Lake but the Crown Land Use Maps show three areas of Crown land that could allow access to the lake. Unless of course the land has been since sold. The most obvious for access is on the south fork, (disregard the circle) The lighter areas are crown land and the easterly area extends from the road to the shore. A drop of about 12m in 45m length and then another 50m to the water ( by my topo maps) Even GE shows no development in that area. Please correct me if you know different, I'm just going by what I have access to.

they are easy to find on any decent electronics, i haven't tried them in june but do in july august. can be quite fun. they spawn in the fall so should have no business being anywhere near shallows in spring time with pike walleye spawning and feeding, I troll around till i find fish stacked under thermocline in tight groups,. your sonar will return way more bottom area in deeper water, you dont want just one small hoop, there should be multiples, Also deeper water is typically structureless so any returns or marks on bottom could be fish then jig for them. try east shorelines with a steep drop, natural funnels or bays would be a good start id start in 35-40 fow then maybe try deeper, later in summer im fishing 90-100 fow i don't use weights i have some big hair jigs i crimp on an additional small hook , or i use a heavy spoon inline as a flasher and tie a small hairt jig 1ft under spoon (remove hooks from spoon).
