Stop putting pressure on mah trails. Before this website, nobody used to ATV or side by side, thats the problem with this site, people learn that the snow is gone and they can atv. Shame. Conserve our gravel and dirt logging roads, you should bring a pail of gravel to replace any stones you bounce off the road. I know some high up people in the ATV community. Vrrroooom.

Hey tailout, what gives you the right to fish for steelhead over everybody else? Just because you didn't check out the site before you went out and fished? Can you honestly tell me that when you were just beginning and learning to fish, you wouldn't have used a resource like this site if it was available? It's not rocket science to drive past a river that runs right through the city and figure out if it's open and if there are fish. We are lucky to live in a place where we can take an hour or two in the middle of our day to head down to a river and try our luck for steelhead. People learn fairly quickly about handling, and there is nothing wrong with offering some friendly advice, but there is no need to come on here and bash the owner of this site. He runs this site on his own time and cares about our fisheries.

i don't know how far up they run the river. You can access an upper stretch of the river via martens road if you have a good 4x4. The lower part, you can park near the trailer for construction and fish around the bridge there or walk south to the train bridge. Or just go a little past on the highway, turn right on to mountain bay road, turn right immediately after crossing train tracks, following the little road next to the tracks. There's a spot to turn around/have a fire/ launch a canoe at the food of the train bridge, and it allows you to fish a nearby pool etc. Hope that helps :).

Well I joined. I think I met this guy 2 nites ago. I was talking to a buddy on the Mac and we were talking about Thunder Bay Fishing. We were talking about how great an information source this site is. I am originally from s.ont. You think this area is bad, go fish down south. Now back to my point of tail out. He came up to us and asked if we were talking about this site and if that is how we found out if the steel head were running. We said yes. He then goes on a rant. Unbelievable. I just want to say that I have met 4 best friends because of this site. That was the best thing for me about this web site. And by the way tailout. Are you a dentist? Just asking because you do an amazing amount of flossing on the river.

Everyone with a fishing license is well within their rights to fish for them as much as they want and posting on a fishing forum will do nothing to change it
