Some Old Guy 968 Report post Posted December 3, 2011 Oh my....I'm just visioning you sliding along naked in the inner tube. You hit a bump and your rear end is sliding along the ice. Then another bump...... BAG SNAG!!!!!!!!!!Roger 1 Quote R.T.R. Respect the resource!

WalleyeWayne 137 Report post Posted December 5, 2011 I was on Whitefish yesterday. 5"-6" of ice and just a very thin layer of snow. We took our sleds and toboggon out with no concerns. Couple areas of slush, but again no concern. We hooked a couple perch in 2-1/2 hrs but not much else going on. There were about 8 huts out already and a few walkers. Whitefish is good to go! Some Old Guy 968 Report post Posted December 6, 2011 Was the water clearing up?Roger Quote R.T.R. Respect the resource!
WalleyeWayne 137 Report post Posted December 6, 2011 Some clarity, but still a little murky with residual algae. My 9 yr old nephew spent many minutes with his head over the hole convinced he was seeing fish swimming by. Could have been right given that we didn't hook much as they were all just "drive-byes ".
