But after reading the rules I decided not to buy it.Let me state that there is nothing wrong with the rules. It's just that I have become stuck in my fishing ways and that's that.The prizes are awesome. Buck 120 32 Report post Posted March 6, 2013 Any tips for the derby from past participants?Looking out from the MNR launch are the holes to the right or left or both?What species has been caught the most, Walleye, Lake Trout, Pike?Were fish caught closer to shore, further out?Any idea of the depth closer to shore vs farther out?Do you know if holes are pre-assigned or is it a mad dash free for all for a good hole?Send me a PM if you have any answers for me.Thanks Quote Not just a 3 month season but a 12 month obsession!!! Lots of parking plowed out and the fishing area looks to be packed down well so it should freeze up nice. Weather mightbe iffy for Saturday though.
