ghart 55 Report post Posted October 10, 2013 Deer calls likely wont be useful for another 2-3 weeks (first week November is magic time usually).Not sure on deer populations that way - I've noticed around here (Nipigon) areas where deer had moved north are mostly moose this year. gsambray 172 Report post Posted October 15, 2013 I had a huge buck come in to some aggressive calls aunday evening just before dark. It was accross a small pond near a well traveled road. He was about to give me a shot when someone popped a bird on the road sending the buck running.
