Went out this morning. Walked out very far. Ice was about 4" thick. I was a little uncomfortable but we made it. Heard a few loud pressure cracks. No fish

Ryan, did you get out Monday and if so, how did you do?

small perch and some pike. spent most the day looking down hole for big fish. saw a few big ones but not interested.

Nothing seemed that hungry. lots of curious fish but none eating

ice was at least 7 and up to 9 inches in places . ice ridge near the point kept me from venturing farther.

At that pace there will be enough ice by this weekend for sleds (if we get snow) and light trucks. Lyle and I had the same results on Sunday as Ryan did on Monday, but I attributed that non-interest to fish looking up the hole and seeing Lyle's mug looking down the hole. Scared the be-jesus out of any potential drive-byes.

Was out on monday as well, I found they were hitting decent. No pike this time and a healthy limit.

Anybody been out since Monday? Is there enough snow out there to use a sled this weekend?

About an inch or so....enough for a standard track.....not sure if I would run a paddle track out there yet.
