eddylives 99 Report post Posted November 7, 2013 Just a heads up to those of us that travel our local hwy's for work and play. The newest company to be in charge of our hwy's , Carillion has cut back on manpower in a big way and it will be extremely noticeable as the winter progresses There has already been an accident west of Thunder Bay involving 14 tractor trailers in the early morning hours of Nov 7/13 being blamed on hwy conditions.Having spoke to a number of former/current employee's of TWD/Carillion it has become clear to me that the hwy's will be problematic this coming season and I would urge all of us to be cautious in our travels. Now I have also been informed that those with issues and concerns will get better results by contacting our local MP's and upper government officials......many calls to Carillion and the MTO will be brushed off and not acted upon.Lets all have a safe winter season and continue to enjoy this great area we live in./>http://www.tbnewswatch.com/news/307333/Multi-truck-crash-closes-highway-between-Kenora-and-Vermillion-Bay Quote Have no fear of perfection.....you will never reach it
