Trevor Zimak 171 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 Trevor, what was the status of upper? The Kash river Bay is all open and it was open all the way out to the the two small islands. Three mile bay was all black. Just past the two small island into the main lake the ice was not black, but not super white... pieces were breaking off all day Sunday. I suspect Upper will be ice free by Thursday. Lower probaly open Today. Middle is questionable for Saturday.
WalleyeWayne 137 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 Intersting how that works. I would've thought the opposite for lower and middle. Upper I can see opening first because of the slighly higher elevation.
Resource Pimp 60 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 The boat launch at 10:30 this morning. A strong west wind has the ice stacking. Lower Sheban should be wide open from Shelter Bay to the dam by this evening. Quote "If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
