Some Old Guy 968 Report post Posted September 26, 2007 Wow! I remember those days. I went up behind Kashabowie one May long weekend years ago. 15 mile long walk back to get a skidder to pull me out. Buried it to the door windows. Roger Quote R.T.R. Respect the resource!

All told it was about a 4-5 hour episode. Those pics dont tell the whole story either, those were taken after we had jacked it up a bit already. Ahh...to be young and stupid. And the Walleyes seemed to taste a bit better after all that diggin!

NWO Fishing Bum 2 Report post Posted September 27, 2007 Oh, oh SiouxSlayer....you.ve broken one of Angler AV's commandments to being a meat-hunter by measuring the quality of an outing by how long it took to 'limit out'...."So how was it?" "Oh, it was great, full limit!!" Classic.... NWO Fishing Bum
Guest Big Moose Report post Posted September 27, 2007 Been there before looks like you weren't going fast enough lol,The only difference now is with a twenty year old truck I'm not worried about bustin her up a bit to get those walleye(the deeper the mud the better). I had the 03'Duramax and prefer to drive the old girl into those not so friendly spots. Oh yah Jack All and a winch is the only way to go for this dude. Moose. Ive had many many adventurous, enjoyable outings and didnt catch a fish. All i was getting at was that getting stuck for 5 hours put a damper on the experience. Dont jump to conclusions when infact you may be misreading the situation.
Guest fishinbuddy Report post Posted September 27, 2007 Ooooh Ya!!! Gettig that stuck definately sucks. But sometimes a part of the game . Chaulk it up to experience, nobody got hurt and you got a fish fry out of the deal. Could have been worse. You might of had to spend the day shopping for furnature or curtains or carpet or well you get the drift. Gotta love the great out doors.
