Out with the Children

Recommended Posts

Guest canuck

Well today was a professional development day for the teachers at my children's school.....so no classes for them. I did what any red blooded father would do when there kids are not in school and he is on days off.....I took them hunting.

Well we brought the Weatherby .257 along in the event we saw a moose calf or whitetail and the .410 single shot.

We saw two grouse (ruffed) and one came home with us...the other well it disappeared in the bush as soon as it got off the road.....I could not even hear it walking....I'm guessing it flew.

Well here is the photo....hoping to show more....just some happy children and one ruffed grouse.

Enjoy!

Very nice canuck. I've got a single shot 410 that I haven't used in years. I've been thinking of taking out for a drive/walk one of these days. Your post has encouraged me. Thanks...
